Using this site
You are welcome to browse, listen and share links. The site is provided as it is, without any guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors, and embedded players depend on services run by other companies.
Content and rights
The name Romario, the music, the mixes, the photographs and the design of this site belong to Romario or are used with permission. You may not re-upload, re-release, remix commercially, sell or use them in advertising, film or other media without written permission. Scraping the site or its feeds for datasets or AI training is not permitted.
Third-party logos and embedded content belong to their owners. If you believe something here infringes your rights, email romario.teamuk@gmail.com and it will be reviewed and, where appropriate, removed promptly.
Booking enquiries
Sending the booking form is an enquiry, not a confirmed booking. A booking exists only once Romario confirms the date, fee and set length in writing (email is fine).
Booking terms
The following apply to confirmed bookings unless the written confirmation says otherwise:
- A deposit of [25%] of the fee secures the date. The balance is due on or before the event date.
- The booker provides working DJ equipment and sound in safe condition, plus reasonable access, power and set-up time.
- Travel and, where the event requires an overnight stay, accommodation are agreed in writing in advance.
- Set times are as agreed. Overrunning at the venue's request is at Romario's discretion and may be chargeable.
Cancellation
- Cancelled by the booker more than [28 days] before the event: the deposit is retained, nothing further is owed.
- Cancelled by the booker within [28 days]: the deposit is retained and [50%] of the remaining fee is payable.
- Cancelled by Romario: the deposit is refunded in full, and a suitable replacement DJ will be suggested where possible.
- Events prevented by something outside either party's control (illness, severe weather, venue closure, legal restrictions): the parties will first try to move the date; if that is not possible the deposit is refunded.
The figures in brackets are the standard defaults and are confirmed for each booking in writing. See the refund policy.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise liability in connection with a booking is limited to the booking fee, and liability for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost ticket sales is excluded.
Privacy and law
Personal data is handled as set out in the privacy policy. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
These terms are a plain-language template for a small independent music business, not legal advice. If bookings, ticketing or merchandise sales grow, have them reviewed by a solicitor.
