Romario is a one-person music business. This page explains the only personal data this site collects — the details you choose to send through the booking form — and what happens to it.
Last updated 17 September 2026
What is collected
Only what the booking form asks for:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Event details (date, city, venue, capacity, set length)
- An optional message
- The fact that you ticked the consent box, and the wording you agreed to
Nothing else is collected. There is no analytics, no advertising, no visitor profiling, and no tracking of your IP address or browsing on this site.
Why it is used
Solely to read your enquiry and reply to it, and to keep a record of the conversation if a booking follows. Your details are never sold, rented or used for marketing.
The legal basis is your consent (you tick the box before sending), and — where a booking goes ahead — the performance of that booking agreement.
Where it is stored and for how long
Enquiries are stored in a secure hosted database used only for this site, accessible to Romario alone. They are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact and then deleted, unless a booking agreement requires them to be kept longer for tax or accounting purposes.
Third parties on this site
The site embeds content from other companies. When those embeds load, the provider can see your IP address and may set cookies:
- Spotify — artist player
- SoundCloud — track and mix player
- YouTube — mixtape video player
- Instagram (Meta) — post embeds
- Behold — the service that fetches the public Instagram feed
Where consent is legally required, these do not load until you accept cookies. See the cookie policy. Each provider handles that data under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, withdraw your consent, or object to how it is used. Email romario.teamuk@gmail.com and it will be actioned within one month.
If you are unhappy with the response you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
This site is not aimed at children. Please do not send enquiries if you are under 16.
These terms are a plain-language template for a small independent music business, not legal advice. If bookings, ticketing or merchandise sales grow, have them reviewed by a solicitor.
